Enhancing the Beauty of a Bride to our site

“The beauty of a bride is what drapes her”, and if that is not enough to convince you that Farina Kajanwalla is a better choice than most designers when it comes to your special day, then think about this: a woman whose fashion icons are Malaika Arora Khan and Shahrukh Khan can not go wrong with your trousseau!

Farina has been making waves right from the time when she was a student of Sophia Polytechnic's fashion designing course, when she was declared the most outstanding student in Mumbai by “La Mode”. She launched her label, simply titled ‘Farina' in 2005 and since then her business graph has only swung upwards.
Like her icons, Farina strongly believes that fashion minus the comfort factor is no fashion at all. Her way of conceptualizing and designing clearly places the individual above today's fashion trends, adapting trends to one's personality rather than the other way around.

“It is important that clothes should be something that suits one's body type and something that one is comfortable with,” Farina says. “It should be what one wants to wear and not a mirror image of the world.”
Unlike most designers, Farina caters to men as well as women. Her designs in both the categories are made to appeal to the person who has a strong sense of self, loves to blend the classic, traditional look with varying degrees of modernity by combining simple and western silhouettes with intricate work done by her artisans whom she has handpicked personally.
Choose from gota work, beadwork, Swarovski crystal work, stone work, zardosi and other types of embroidery. Opt for a heavily worked-upon ensemble or a minimalist one, Farina loves experimenting and no challenge is too big for her to overcome.
“My inspiration comes from within,” she says. “Indian embroidery has a lot of depth and meaning and definitely would beautify anybody while providing ample scope for experimentation.”
To see an Indian bride stand out from all the other brides is what Farina's passion is, and why not be a part of it?
